Engetecnica values your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data collected through the website www.engetecnica.com.br, in compliance with Brazil's General Personal Data Protection Law (LGPD – Law No. 13,709/2018).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and store your information, as well as your rights as a data subject.
1. Information we collect
We collect personal information for specific and legitimate purposes, always respecting the principles of the LGPD. The categories of personal data we may collect include:
A. Information you provide directly
When using our website, contacting us or filling in forms, you may voluntarily provide:
- Full name
- E-mail address
- Phone number
- Project details or commercial requests
- Any other information sent through forms or direct communication
In the résumé form on the Careers page, you may also send your city, area of interest, LinkedIn profile, a message and your résumé file (PDF or Word).
B. Information collected automatically
While you browse the website, we may automatically collect:
- IP address
- Browser type and version, operating system and device data
- Pages visited, browsing time and interaction behavior
- Traffic source (e.g. search engines, links)

2. Purposes of data processing
We use the personal data collected for the following purposes:
- To respond to your requests, questions or contacts
- To assess applications in Engetecnica's recruitment processes, based on résumés sent through the Careers page
- To provide and improve our services
- To monitor website traffic and performance
- To carry out marketing activities (with your consent, where required)
- To comply with legal or regulatory obligations
- To keep our systems secure and prevent fraud
3. Sharing of personal data
Your personal data may be shared in the following cases:
- Service providers: companies hired to host the website, perform analytics, manage communications, among others
- Public authorities: where there is a legal or regulatory obligation
- Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition or corporate reorganization
We do not sell your personal data or share it for behavioral advertising without your consent.
Website forms and Microsoft 365
Messages sent through the Contact and Résumé forms are forwarded by e-mail, through the Microsoft 365 platform used by Engetecnica, to the teams responsible for sales inquiries and recruitment. They are only sent after you tick the box agreeing to this policy.
The Whistleblower channel uses Microsoft Forms, also part of Microsoft 365, and accepts anonymous reports. Responses are accessed only by the Compliance team.
To protect the forms against automated submissions, the website temporarily keeps a code derived from the sender's IP address (the IP itself is not stored), discarded within two hours.
4. Data subject rights
Under the LGPD, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Confirmation that processing takes place
- Access to the data
- Correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data
- Anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed unlawfully
- Data portability, where applicable
- Deletion of data processed with consent
- Information about data sharing
- Withdrawal of consent, where applicable
- Objection to processing in case of non-compliance with the LGPD

5. Retention of personal data
Your data will be stored only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, unless legal or regulatory obligations require a longer retention period (e.g. tax or contractual obligations).
Résumés sent through the Careers page are kept for as long as recruitment processes require and may be deleted at any time at the data subject's request, by e-mail to contato@engetecnica.com.br.
6. Security measures
We adopt reasonable technical, administrative and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, leaks, alteration or destruction. Even so, no system is completely immune to security risks.
7. Children's and adolescents' privacy
Our website and services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we identify improper collection, the data will be deleted immediately.
8. Third-party websites
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites. We recommend that you read their privacy policies when you visit them.
